How We Obtain Consent: SMS consent is obtained at the point of collection — when a technician provides their phone number during onboarding, or when a tenant submits a maintenance request form at epmelite.com/tenant-portal.html. The opt-in form contains an unchecked checkbox with the following language: "Yes, I agree to receive SMS messages from Empire Property Management regarding my maintenance request." The form will not submit without active consent.
Types of Messages Sent:
Message Frequency: Message frequency varies based on work order activity. Technicians typically receive 1–5 messages per assigned job. Tenants typically receive 1–3 messages per maintenance request.
Message & Data Rates: Message and data rates may apply depending on your mobile carrier and plan.
To Opt Out: Reply STOP to any SMS message at any time to unsubscribe immediately. You will receive a one-time confirmation and no further messages will be sent.
